Vitamin D and Fibromyalgia
When vitamin D is mentioned most people think of osteoporosis, however vitamin D may also help prevent heart problems, autoimmune disorders, cancer, and Parkinson's. Have your vitamin D levels checked, recent studies suggest that levels lower than 50 nanograms per milliliter can cause musculoskeletal pain as it is seen with people who have fibromyalgia. Digestive Disorders
Gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD) is prevalent today and is normally treated by giving acid-blocking drugs such as proton pump inhibitors, ie: Prilosec, Prevacid, Aciphex, Protonix, Kapidex, Nexium. These medications taking for long periods of time can affect calcium absorption, deplete the body of iron, B12, folic acid. Alternative treatment is Deglycyrrhizinated licorice(DGL) which helps by strengthening the protective mucous of the esophagus and stomach. Stomach ulcers are usually caused by an infection called Helicobacter pylori(H. pylori) bacteria. Ulcers are normally treated with antibiotics and acid blocking drugs(such as mentioned above). DGL is also helpful in combatting H.pylori, aloe vera juice can help heal stomach tissues.

Vacation
I just returned from vacation and as usual, I packed all my protein powders and vitamins. I did have a problem, ran out of Fish oil and forgot to take my D-Ribose. My joints did feel sore, because the fish oil is anti-inflammatory and felt a little fatigue because of no D-Ribose. However, my vacation was very enjoyable and looking for to providing daily blogs for everyone.
