Vitamin D and Fibromyalgia

When vitamin D is mentioned most people think of osteoporosis, however vitamin D may also help prevent heart problems, autoimmune disorders, cancer, and Parkinson's. Have your vitamin D levels checked, recent studies suggest that levels lower than 50 nanograms per milliliter can cause musculoskeletal pain as it is seen with people who have fibromyalgia. Vitamin D3 is better absorbed and utilized than vitamin D2.
